General Assignment Reporter - WMUK-FM

WMUK seeks a trained, eager journalist to join its newsroom as a part-time general assignment news reporter. This member of our team will file spots and features on a range of topics. Some stories will be turned the same day while others will be developed over weeks. Most assignments will occur during business hours. Some flexibility in scheduling around the employee's other obligations is built into this part-time position.

Requirements (Experience, Education, Etc.):    At least six (6) months of reporting experience Willingness to work closely with an editor Thorough grounding in journalistic ethics and practices Ability to produce daily and breaking news on tight deadlines Must be a licensed driver with reliable transportation
