
Station Manager - WGNB-FM
Reporting to the Regional Station Manager, the Station Manager (WGNB) will serve their communities and lead their local team in a manner consistent with the mission and values of Moody Bible Institute and Moody Radio. Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position. Protect the license of the station(s). In coordination with the Moody Radio FCC compliance team, ensure that the station(s) under your supervision are adherent to FCC regulations in all areas.
Lead and manage the local radio team under your care, encouraging them, and holding them accountable to the goals and responsibilities assigned to each contributor. Build and cultivate relationships with ministry partners (donors, organizations, churches, underwriters, and listeners). Leveraging all the resources available to Moody Radio, strive to strengthen connections with those we have the opportunity to serve and encourage. Serve as property manager. Lead and care for the Moody owned properties and equipment under your supervision, forecasting needs and managing projects necessary to keep these facilities in a condition that demonstrates good stewardship. Serve as the administrative and business lead for daily operations, budget management. Perform other duties as assigned by the Regional Station Manager.
Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma or GED Ten years general radio experience. Good verbal and written communication skills. Able to work in the US legally without sponsorship.
Preferred Requirements: Associate or bachelor’s degree. Five or more years of management experience Work Environment/Conditions. This job operates in a professional broadcasting environment. This role routinely uses standard office and broadcast equipment such as computers, phones and copier/printers. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
This is a full-time position: Normal working hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Some travel is expected for this position.
