If you are a Michigan student studying broadcasting, film, media or a related field and you want to work in the Michigan media industry after graduation, let Michigan Broadcasters help to get you there! The MAB Foundation awards excellence in broadcast, media, and related fields through the General Scholarship program funded by donations to the General Scholarships Income Fund. 

Applicants must have at least one semester of schooling remaining at their respective institution (no graduating seniors). They must be studying broadcast, media, or related fields such as engineering, sales, business, graphic design, marketing, and others, at a Michigan college, university, or trade school.

Three recipients will be selected to receive a scholarship 

First Place: $4,000
Second Place: $2,000
Third Place: $1,000

Application Includes:

1. Letter of recommendation from instructor

2. Other recommendation(s) from internships, work, or other

3. Resume

4. Student ID number

5. At least two examples of school projects or professional work

6. 500-word essay outlining career goals

7. Completed information below

Application Deadline: Friday, January 12, 2024 5:00 pm EST

Thank you applicants! Winners will be notified in February 2024 and celebrated at the Student Awards Luncheon in the spring of 2024.
