General Sales Manager - WKHM AM/FM, WIBM (Jackson)

The Sales Manager will lead and motivate a dynamic sales team and help to create synergies between two markets. This individual will be responsible for driving revenue growth through radio and digital advertising sales, developing client relationships, and implementing sales strategies that position McKibbin Media Group as the go-to partner for businesses in our region.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage, coach, and motivate a team of sales professionals.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue goals across radio and digital platforms.
• Provide ongoing training and mentorship to build team skills and effectiveness.
• Build strong relationships with clients, helping them maximize their ROI through integrated advertising solutions.
• Monitor and analyze sales performance, adjusting strategies as needed to meet goals.
• Collaborate with programming and content teams to create compelling, results-driven advertising campaigns.
• Stay current with trends in digital advertising, marketing technology, and local market conditions.
• Represent McKibbin Media Group at community and networking events.
• Oversee a small number of Client Accounts.

Requirements (Experience, Education, Etc.):  

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in sales management, preferably in media, advertising, or marketing.
• Strong understanding of digital advertising (display, social, search, streaming, etc.) and the ability to communicate its value to clients.
• Excellent motivational, communication, and organizational skills.
• Tech-savvy with the ability to learn and adapt to new tools and platforms quickly.
• Track record of achieving and exceeding sales goals.
• Strong relationship-building and client-service orientation.
• Will have reliable transportation.
